Also, if you are running virus protection, you might need to set an exeption for the installer. What might work, if you did the same thing I did and walked away to let the install do it's thing, is watch the install, so you can answer the dialogs that may pop up. It appears that there may be a timeout feature of sorts on the installer, and you might get this message if another app is blocking the install in some way, and in my case, both the windows dialoge and the AVG dialog had self terminated before I got back to see them. The first time I tried the install (when it failed with this administrator message), I had moved over to my macbook and gone back to work, so I didn't see these dialogs, and they weren't on the screen when I came back, there was just the failed install administrator message from the adobe installer. I was reading this thread when I got a windows dialog asking if I wanted to allow the install, so I said yes, then I got a prompt from my AVG asking if I wanted to allow. I did, however, have this issue with the update on my PC (Windows 7 Pro 64bit), and I was looking for a solution online while I tried the install again. I didn't have any problems on my mac, so not sure if this is any help to the mac folks or not? Just posting this in the hopes that it helps someone. I don't understand why it's saying I don't have administrator privileges, when all other applications I've installed have worked without any issue.Ġ6/15/13 17:46:51:208 | | | ASU | PDApp | DLM.ApplicationFacade | | | 49534 | sendNotification = productSessionRetr圜lickSignal, type = nullĠ6/15/13 17:46:51:220 | | | ASU | PDApp | DLM.ApplicationFacade | | | 49534 | sendNotification = executeCCMDownloadWorkflowSignal, type = nullĠ6/15/13 17:46:51:222 | | | ASU | PDApp | DLM.ApplicationFacade | | | 49534 | sendNotification = executeProdSessWorkflow, type = nullĠ6/15/13 17:46:51:223 | | | ASU | PDApp | DLM.ApplicationFacade | | | 49534 | sendNotification = acquireAdminElevationSignal, type = nullĠ6/15/13 17:46:54:592 | | | ASU | PDApp | AcquireAdminElevationCommand | | | 49534 | Failed to launch AAM helperĠ6/15/13 17:46:54:593 | | | ASU | PDApp | DLM.ApplicationFacade | | | 49534 | sendNotification = handleErrorSignal, type = null This is my token number from the Adobe Support Advisor: 40-13120-004515062013
